About Aileen Beaver, LCSW

Aileen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a graduate of Boston University School of Social Work. She is trained in EMDR through the Manhattan Center for Trauma Studies and completed a certificate program in psychoanalytic studies at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center in New York City. Her clinical experience includes a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and family-based services. Aileen enjoys learning and continuously seek training to further her clinical skills to provide the best possible care.

As an LCSW, Aileen values each individual's uniqueness and takes a holistic approach to your care, tailoring therapy to your needs and strengths. Her approach is grounded in relational and psychodynamic psychotherapy, which explores how the past influences and shapes the present. She also offers EMDR therapy and incorporates CBT and DBT skills to help address current challenges.

Aileen believes in people’s ability to process and transform their pain to live fuller and freer lives. Taking the steps towards meaningful and lasting change is no easy feat, and it takes courage to start or restart the therapy process. 

Aileen enjoys working with teens and adults who are seeking meaningful and lasting change. Together, she works to address anxiety and depression, to navigate life transitions, process grief and loss, and to help you get unstuck from old emotional and relationship patterns that no longer serve you.
